Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. The RVU calculator and CPT code lookup work with no signup required. An optional account lets you track your RVUs over time with analytics.
Where does your RVU data come from?
All RVU values come directly from the CMS Physician Fee Schedule — the official source used by Medicare for physician reimbursement. We update the database following each CMS release and maintain a detailed changelog of every update.
Who can see my data?
Your logged entries are protected by row-level security, meaning other users and your employer cannot access them. As the platform operator, we have administrative database access for maintenance and support purposes.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your account and all logged data remain intact. You revert to the free tier with a limit on new procedure entries, but you keep full access to everything you have already logged and can export it at any time.
Do you sell or share my data?
We do not sell or share any personally identifiable data. We may use aggregated, anonymized statistics — such as total procedures logged or total wRVUs across the platform — for analytics or reporting purposes. No individual-level data is ever included.
Can I use this for billing?
No. wRVU Tracker is a productivity tracking tool for reference purposes only. Always verify RVU values and billing codes with official CMS sources before submitting any claims.
Is my data secure and private?
Yes. We follow industry-standard security practices and collect minimal data. You should never enter patient information — only CPT codes, dates, and quantities. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
